  24. This allows you to list any of the file areas that the sysop has given you
  25. access to.  This function works exactly like WC! so you do not have to learn 
  26. any new keys.  You may also list more than one file area at a time.  You can 
  27. list the files via the @15@S@14@ingle or @15@D@14@ouble listing types.

  29. When you see a file(s) that you are interested in you can mark them here by 
  30. typing "@15@M@14@" then when you get the prompt, type in the file number or filename.
  31. You also have the options to edit the batch queue here, by entering "@15@E@14@".

  36. This will allow you to transfer the file from the BBS to your system using your
  37. choice of protocol.  (ZModem, YModem, XModem, XModem CRC, XModem 1k, 
  38. XModem 1k/G, and YModem/G are available), the last two are only offered when 
  39. you have a error free connection.

  41. If you have not queued any files for download when you select "@15@D@14@" you will
  42. be asked for the names of the files that you want to download, when you have
  43. finished entering in the filenames press enter.

  45. If you have queued files when you select "@15@D@14@" you will be presented with a
  46. menu that looks like this:

  59. You will be presented with a screen with the available protocols, choose one
  60. and start the transfer on your end.  If you are using XModem of any kind you 
  61. will have to start the transfer of each file, since it is not a batch protocol.
  62. If the transfer get aborted then the files will come up @12@Failed@14@, and you
  63. will not be counted for those files.

  68. Use this option to add or remove files from your batch queue.  You will be 
  69. given a list of the files that are currently in your batch queue.  If you wish
  70. to remove one press "@15@R@14@" then the item number.  If you wish to clear the list
  71. simply press "@15@C@14@".  If you wish to add a file to the list make sure you know the
  72. filename then press "@15@A@14@", you will be asked to enter the filename.

  74. If you clear the list or remove a file by accident you may undo what you just 
  75. did by pressing "@15@O@14@".

  80. Use this option to search for specific files, using WildCards or looking for 
  81. text in the description line.  To look for a specific file using WildCards
  82. press "@15@N@14@", RomDoor will give you the current file mask and prompt you to
  83. change it.  If you want to find files that have a certain text in their
  84. description lines press "@15@D@14@", RomDoor will ask you for the text to search
  85. for.  Once you have decieded what to search for, press "@15@S@14@" to start the
  86. search.  RomDoor will show you all the files that match your specifications.

  91. This calls up the viewer that the sysop has configured for the BBS.  Archive 
  92. viewers normally list out the files that are inside the archive, as well as 
  93. read any text files contained in the archive.

  103. Counts the total number of files, bytes, and total downloads in the file 
  104. database.  For large databases this may take quite some time to do, so if

  111. Shows the current CDs that are online and available.  This also allows you 
  112. switch CDs and select one that you want to concentrate on.  Meaning, when 
  113. you list the available file areas RomDoor will only show you the one that
  114. are on the CD-ROM that you have selected.  This is VERY useful on systems 
  115. that have multiple CDs Online.

  120. Allows you to list the fileareas into a textfile that you can download.
  121. Note you don't have to do all the file areas at once.  You will be asked
  122. if you want the listing single or double line, single line of course is
  123. much smaller so it saves space.  Use single line if you are going to do
  124. many fileareas, if you want more description choose the normal double line
  125. listing.

  131. which shows the whole menu.  @15@Regular@14@ shows only the command prompt and the

  133. prompt, this is useful when you know what you are doing.
